How Many Calories Are In Adrenaline Shoc?

If you look at the table above, you can see that Adrenaline Shoc doesn’t include any calories.

Now you may wonder where does the ‘boost’ or ‘energy’ comes from.

The thing is, Adrenaline Shoc doesn’t give you any energy, but rather the caffeine that blocks your adenosine receptors, which then causes your pituitary glands to secrete hormones that cause your adrenaline glands to produce more adrenaline.

In layman’s terms, caffeine stimulates the glands that make you feel more awake or alert.

That being said, Adrenaline Shoc is a great option for people who like to feel recharged without having to worry about gaining extra weight. Because the energy-boosting all depends on its caffeine content.

Although Adrenaline Shoc is a great beverage for revitalization, it’s not advisable to drink the beverage alone without having enough calories from other food sources or skipping meals. That’s why it’s important to maintain a balanced diet as much as possible.

Adrenaline Shoc Caffeine Content

A 16 fl. oz can of Adrenaline Shoc contains a whopping 300mg of caffeine. Which makes it one of the strongest energy drinks in the market.

We all know that caffeine is a popular ingredient in beverages like coffee, matcha green tea, chocolates, and of course, energy drinks.

Why is that?

It’s because caffeine plays a role in preventing you from feeling tired, sleepy, and losing focus. It basically binds your adenosine receptors to your brain, making you feel alert and more focused.

There are various benefits that you can experience from consuming caffeine. These are:

Given these benefits, Adrenaline Shoc formulated a blend of minerals and other energy-boosting ingredients with a jampacked 300mg of caffeine in each can. And you must understand that that much amount of caffeine is not entirely good for your system.

Caffeine is commonly found in beans, chocolates and leaves.

The FDA only recommends a limit of 400mg of caffeine for healthy adults. And exceeding the daily intake may lead to serious and dangerous side effects such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • Digestive issues
  • Muscle breakdown
  • High blood pressure
  • Rapid heart rate
  • Dependence

So always make sure to check in your caffeine intake to avoid these health risks.

Does Adrenaline Shoc Use Artificial Sweeteners?

There are no sugars present in Adrenaline Shoc, but it uses artificial sweeteners to add sweetness to the drink.

This is good news for people who want to cut out sugar and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Because if we consider the recommended daily sugar intake of 25g for women and 36g for men, Adrenaline Shoc is a great choice for beverage for this type of audience.

So what kind of artificial sweeteners does Adrenaline Shoc use?

Adrenaline Shoc uses two artificial sweeteners: Sucralose and Acesulfame Potassium. These sweeteners are widely used by manufacturers and approved by dieticians for their safe use.

Sucralose

Sucralose is an artificial sweetener synthetically made and mostly used by manufacturers for products without sugar. This sweetener is actually 600 times sweeter than sugar but has no caloric footprint.

Acesulfame Potassium

Acesulfame Potassium is usually blended with Sucralose to balance the sweetness because it has a slightly bitter taste.

Other Ingredients

B-Vitamins

The B-Vitamins Complex comprises 8 types of vitamins that ensure that the cells in our body properly function. They help convert food to energy and regenerate cells and other body tissues.

Adrenaline Shoc has 3 types of B-Vitamins out of the 8 types, which I’ve listed below:

VitaminsPurposeTolerable Upper Intake
Vitamin B3 (Niacin)Used by body to turn food into energy.35mg
Vitamin B6Benefits central nervous system and metabolism.100mg
Vitamin B9 (Folic Acid)Helps the body convert food into fuel1mg (1000mcg)

These vitamins help in muscle tone, energy levels, cell health and good digestion.

Coenzyme Q-10

Coenzyme Q-10 acts as an antioxidant that plays a role in DNA repair and energy production.

Coenzyme Q-10 benefits include:

  • Improving heart health
  • Reduce muscle pain
  • Treating migraines
  • Protecting against age-related diseases

Of course, we don’t exactly know how much CO Q-10 is present in Adrenaline Shoc and whether or not it’s an effective dose, so do take these benefits with a grain of salt.

Guarana Seed Extract

Guarana Seeds are harvested from the Amazons and include great benefits of reducing fatigue, improving focus, and may provide pain relief.

Guarana seeds

For your information though, guarana seeds are also a source of caffeine, so if you’re wondering why guarana and caffeine have seemingly common benefits, it’s because a large percentage of guarana is actually caffeine.

What Happens When I Have Adrenaline Shoc?

Like most energy drinks, Adrenaline Shoc works by introducing caffeine into your system, blocking adenosine receptors, and providing you with benefits ranging from increased alertness to decreased reaction time.

After 20-40 minutes in, the caffeine in your bloodstream will peak, ensuing an effect of awakeness and alertness and even a more focused concentration.

But after 5-6 hours, 50% of the caffeine in your bloodstream will ease off before it completely leaves your bloodstream after 12 hours, whereby you may feel more tired than usual.

What Happens If I Have Too Much Adrenaline Shoc?

having far too much Adrenaline Shoc means ingesting more caffeine than is reasonably safe in a day, which may lead to severe caffeine side-effects.

With Adrenaline Shoc, while there’s no sugar or calories to worry about, its high caffeine content does mean you really shouldn’t be having more than one can of this stuff every day.

As mentioned above, the FDA only approves a daily limit of 400mg of caffeine daily. Considering Adrenaline Shoc has 300mg of caffeine per serving, it’s pretty easy to tip into excessive caffeine intake, especially if you’ve already had another caffeinated product in your day,

Going over the daily caffeine limit (or simply having more than you can tolerate) may result in side effects such as jitteriness, insomnia, dizziness, and headaches, which are mildly inconvenient for staying productive, to say the least.

Adrenaline Shoc’s caffeine content is too close to the FDA’s approved daily limit, which basically sums up why I don’t recommend having more than one can of it per day, and even then, only if you have the tolerance for it.

Although you might think it’s healthy since it has neither sugar nor calories, we consider the caffeine content in each can, drinking it every day is a no-go.

As such, I would advise to have a different brand of energy drink if you really need your dailly caffeine fix; something a lot lower on the caffeine scale, even with some amount of sugar and calories, would p robably fare better than having 300mg every day.

Final Thoughts

To conclude, Adrenaline Rush is not an ideal everyday drink. It’s high in caffeine, and you would do well to avoid consuming it too frequently if you want to avoid potential health risks.

Adrenaline Shoc is a great beverage; it has the necessary ingredients to revitalize your system. But you should watch out for its caffeine content, as it’s close to the daily limit approved by the FDA, which says that it is not really advisable to consume it daily.

But it is okay to grab a can of Adrenaline Shoc when you have reason to, such as for extreme physical or mental performances to enhance endurance and concentration.

Then again, if you need a little boost, moderate consumption of Adrenaline Shoc is your best option.
