Energizers

Bing Energy Drinks contain naturally sourced caffeine from guarana, acai, and flax seeds.

Additional ingredients like Asian Ginseng make this drink very unique.

Now, you might be questioning, what is the difference between regular ginseng and Asian ginseng? Asian ginseng is used mainly in China and other Asian countries for centuries.

It improves your physical stamina, concentration, and memory.

Guarana seeds are widely used to enhance athletic performance by reducing mental and physical fatigue.

All of these adds up to the caffeine content of the drink. A can of 12 Fl. Oz. contains 120mg of caffeine.

Important Vitamins

Essential vitamins like B2, B3, B6, and B12 aid your metabolism and improves your immune system to ensure a faster recovery.

Vitamin C is also important for body tissue growth and recovery.

Artificial Sweeteners

Bing contains artificial sweeteners Sucralose and Acesulfame potassium, which are popular sugar substitutes. They don’t carry the same risks that natural sugar does.

This drink also contains cane sugar, which adds a touch of fruity sweetness to the drink.

There are also sugar-free energy drink brands you can check out in this article I previously wrote. Most of the time, these brands incorporate healthier sugar substitutes to make their drinks sugar-free.

Bing Energy Drink Flavors

As we speak, there are 5 exciting flavors in the Bing lineup. These are:

  • Original Bing Cherry
  • Bing Black
  • Bing Raz
  • Bing Crisp
  • Bing Blu

You can order those directly from their website.

Orginal Bing Cherry: Cherry Freshness Overloaded!

Original Bing Cherry is the signature drink of Bing Energy Drinks. Right from opening the can, I felt the freshness of cherries.

The color of the drink is cherry red. It is a bit fizzy, as I would like it to be. The sweetness does get stronger with every sip.

Overall, the drink was pretty good. I love the cherry aftertaste which left an impression on my tongue!

Bing Black: Blackberry Fantasy!

The color of this drink is a touch darker than the original. This is as sweet as the original as well.

When I took the first sip, I can immediately taste the fine blackberry flavor. However, it is not as strong as the cherry one.

It has more of a subtle taste, just the perfect mix of sweetness and fruit flavors which I personally liked a whole lot.

Bing Crisp: Apple and Cherry All-Along!

When I opened the can, the combination of the taste and the fragrance is a bit funny. I could feel the fuzziness of the carbonated water, which is a plus factor.

The aftertaste was a bit sweet. However, I could feel the apple, but the cherry was not that overpowering. The Crisp name does justify itself though.

Bing Raz: Raspberry Raz!

From the first sip, you can definitely taste the raspberry. Bing has done a fairly good job of maintaining the natural flavor.

The taste of this drink reminds me of freshly-made raspberry juice with a fizzy texture. The color also represents the natural raspberry red color.

Bing Blu: Blue, Boysen & Beyond!

This is the new addition to the clan. We all know how blueberry tastes like. However, the Boysenberry is a newer addition.

It tastes something between blackberry and raspberry. In my opinion, this drink was a good experience. However, the sweetness was a bit overwhelming for my preferences. You can taste the fresh natural juices though.

How Much Caffeine Does Bing Have?

One can of Bing contains 120mg of naturally sourced caffeine.

This caffeine is derived from guarana seeds, acai, and Asian ginseng.

According to caffeine guidelines of the FDA, an adult can consume up to 400mg of caffeine per day.

As Bing Energy Drink contains 120mg of caffeine, it is safe to have one serving every day.

I wouldn’t recommend going beyond that, because food and drinks like chocolate and coffee contain caffeine too and may drive your intake up.

Excessive consumption of caffeine can lead to various side effects like jitters, headaches, and restlessness.

Caffeine Side Effects

Caffeine is a neural receptor that stimulates your nervous system so you’d feel more alert. It also reduces fatigue by binding the adenosine receptors in your brain that makes you sleepy.

Watch the video below to know more about caffeine’s effects on the body.

How does caffeine work?

However, excessive caffeine is not good for your health. It can cause these side effects:

  • Restlessness
  • Insomnia
  • Abnormal Heart Rhythm
  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Anxiety
  • Addiction for More Caffeine

How Much Sugar Does Bing Have?

A 12 fl. oz can of Bing contains about 9 grams of sugar.

This sugar content is mainly comprised of natural sugars from fruit extracts and other sweeteners like Acesulfame potassium, Sucralose, and Beta-glucan, making this drink really sweet altogether.

All in all, Bing isn’t really high in sugar but is sweet enough for those who are craving it.

Sugar Limits and Side Effects

According to American Heart Association (AHA), an adult male and female can consume up to 36 grams and 24 grams of added sugar respectively.

Side effects of excessive sugar consumption include:

  • Increased appetite
  • Obesity
  • Heart problems
  • Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Depression
  • High Colesterol
  • Cardiovascular Diseases

How Many Calories Are there in Bing?

A can of Bing energy drink contains roughly around 40 calories. It is mainly because of the added sugar and natural fruit extracts.

Bing Energy Drinks
Much to choose from!

This is a bit low in comparison to the other caffeinated drinks in the market. This can further benefit you if you’re on a Keto diet or a fitness regimen.

The drink won’t only energize you for your workouts, but also won’t add much to your calorie intake.

There are also other zero-calorie energy drink brands that you can check out here!

Does Bing Work?

In my opinion, Bing delivers on its promise of moderate caffeine content, nice flavors, and low calories.

However, I wouldn’t really call it a stand-out. It has a decent energy boost but there are other brands that are zero-calorie and zero-sugar.

The good thing though, is that Bing really brings out the freshness and the flavors of its berry ingredients.

Do Bing energy drinks make you crash?

Similarly to other brands of energy drinks, Bing Energy is perfectly safe in modest amounts. Bing has 120mg of caffeine, 30 calories, and 8g of sugar, so it’s a well-balanced energy drink. When put next to the most potent energy drinks, it holds its own and probably helps your health in the long run.

Cane sugar, included in Bing Energy drink at 8 grams, is better for you than table sugar. Compared to Monster (55g) and Red Bull (39g), Bing’s sugar content is far lower, making it the healthier option.

How long does Bing energy drinks keep you awake?

The FDA reports that caffeine has a half-life of four to six hours. To put it another way, half of the caffeine you drank will still be in your system and keeping you awake for up to six hours after you drank it. And if you’re trying to go to sleep at night, they’ll keep you awake.

Bing energy drink has 120mg of caffeine per 12-ounce serving, which is a reasonable quantity compared to the 160mg and 200mg per serving found in Monster and Celsius, respectively.

A further key fact is that 400 milligrams of caffeine per day is the maximum amount suggested by the Food and Drug Administration. It’s over 50% lower than what doctors would want. Be aware that going too far might lead to health issues like:

Does water flush out caffeine?

To calm your nerves, drink a lot of water to wash out your system. Caffeine’s effects may be quickly mitigated by consuming water.

Caffeine in the body may be flushed out by drinking water, which also serves to keep you hydrated. Caffeine withdrawal may cause fatigue, headaches, irritability, and lack of focus, although these symptoms often subside after a few days.

Can You Have Bing Energy Drinks Every Day?

120mg of caffeine is a considerable amount of caffeine, but it doesn’t cross the 400mg mark.

Still, it is not ideal to drink Bing or any other caffeinated drinks on a regular basis. You may be unconsciously consuming foods or beverages that already contain, making you prone to its side effects.

But if you closely follow the recommended limit, then you won’t have to worry about drinking Bing every day!

Bing Vs Red Bull Vs Monster

It is inevitable that Bing will be compared to other energy drinks in the market, especially its big-wig competitors.

Here is the comparison table between Bing, Red Bull, and Monster:

As we can see, Bing does a great job in keeping down the sugar levels and limiting the calories. Not bad at all!

Final Thoughts

In my opinion, Bing Energy drink is a good fruit-flavored energy drink. Considering the caffeine content and other notable ingredients, it is safe to say that you can have 1 can per day.

All in all, you won’t be disappointed when you purchase their drinks, especially if you like sweet and juicy flavors.

However, always keep in mind the recommended daily limits for caffeine and sugar, as going overboard can cause health risks like caffeine addiction, headaches, and jitters.

But of course, why don’t you see for yourself? Try Bing now and enjoy the blast of cherry flavors.
