How Many Calories Are In X-Gamer Energy?

Each X-Shotz (10g sachet) contains 31 calories.

This is a fairly low amount compared to other sugary energy drinks. And since it is low on calories, the energy boost will mainly come from its caffeine content.

In essence, you can give yourself a drink of X-Gamer Energy without feeling guilty of extra calories. The calories on this drink is fairly low and would hardly make a difference on your weight.

Moreover, X-Gamer has minimal sugar present in its formulation. There’s only at least 3g of sugar in each packet and again is a low amount since the daily sugar intake limit is 24g for women and 36g for men.

Remember, you are what you eat.

Considering the calorie and sugar content, X-Gamer wouldn’t be consequential compared to other energy drinks. X-Gamer Energy might be a good beverage to give you a temporary fix, but its after-effects might leave you slightly pinched.

That being said, you shouldn’t necessarily replace your meals with an energy drink that doesn’t sustain your daily caloric needs.

How Much Caffeine Is In X-Gamer Energy?

Each X-Shotz (10g sachet) contains 200g of caffeine.

Which is an awful lot. Given that most of the energy drink’s caffeine content averages 160mg, X-Gamer is definitely one of the heavy-duty energy drinks on the market, a title it shares with Raze and G-Fuel.

Now you may think that X-Gamer Energy is ‘healthy’ because of its low calorie and low sugar blend. But you don’t want to overlook its caffeine content and its effects that comes with it.

Chocolate Bars
Besides coffee and matcha green tea, chocolate is also contains caffeine.

Of course, having a tolerable amount of caffeine can be beneficial at most times. Apart from alertness and focus, caffeine proves to improve reaction time, cognitive performance and even increased exercise capability.

Going back to X-Gamer, it has 200mg caffeine, and that means it is halfway from the 400mg caffeine limit intake advised by the FDA.

Consuming too much caffeine may uncomfortable side effects such as:

And more serious health risks like:

  • Convulsions
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Hypertension
  • Osteoporosis
  • Twitching of muscles
  • Death

If you want to avoid experiencing these symptoms, mild consumption is recommended. So be sure to monitor your consumption and maintain a healthy and balanced amount of whatever you’re consuming.

Sugar In X-Gamer Energy

Too much sugar is, understandably, bad for you.

X-Gamer Energy’s sugar content is 3g. And that is for each 10g sachet.

Which is considerably not a bad amount. It is still under the recommended daily sugar limit.

However, just like caffeine, sugar also has its downsides and consumption needs to be looked after. Too much sugar may harm your health in different ways like:

  • Risk of obesity
  • Causes blood glucose to spike and plummet
  • A high-sugar diet often results in chromium deficiency
  • Increases stress
  • Causes gum disease

See, it’s not pretty bad. For the sake of the sweet drive, X-Gamer Energy added only a decent amount of sugar to its blend.

However, besides sugar, X-Gamer also uses an artificial sweetener called sucralose and natural flavorings to add flavor to the drinks.

What is Sucralose?

Sucralose is an artificial sweetener that is 600 times sweeter than sugar. It might be sweeter than sugar, but this artificial sweetener provides no calories.

That being said, artificial sweeteners like sucralose are widely used around the world for their no caloric components and safe use. Moreover, it can be used as a much healthier substitute to sugar to avoid type 2 diabetes and other adverse effects of sugar like:

  • obesity
  • tooth decay
  • increased risk of heart disease
  • fatty liver acids

But it does not entirely mean that artificial sweeteners are healthy. In fact, artificial sweeteners are only used at an exact ample amount, considering they are 200-600 times sweeter than sugar to balance out the sweetness.

Some side effects of overconsumption of artificial sweeteners include:

  • Can leave a sour aftertaste
  • Risks of cancer
  • You are replacing sugar with chemicals
  • It can also lead to weight gains
  • Bloating, loose stool, and gas-related are among the side effects

That being said, just like sugar, artificial sweeteners must be consumed in a healthy amount.

X-Gamer Energy Drink Pros and Cons

X-Gamer
Pros and Cons of X Gamer

Now you might be confused as to whether X-Gamer Energy Drink is a good beverage or not. Why don’t we weigh out its pros and cons?

Pros

X-Gamer is a great aid for anyone who needs an energy fix. If you live an active lifestyle, this is another great beverage among the top leading energy drinks because it is packed with essential vitamins and a good drink to enhance your physical activities.

Packed caffeine and other minerals like Dextrose Monohydrate and Taurine that reduces fatigue and increases fat burning, X-Gamer Energy’s benefits are but not limited to:

  • Increase alertness
  • Enhance physical performance
  • Additional supplements
  • Effective formula for esports and gamers
  • Amazing taste
  • A lot of variety

This may sound all good and great, but of course, every pros comes with cons.

Cons

With its 200mg caffeine content, which is considered high, people who have low caffeine tolerance may experience some adverse effects such as:

  • Cardiovascular effects
  • Nervousness
  • Jittery
  • Hallucination
  • Anxiety

Moreover, like any other energy drink, the boosting effects are only temporary. The caffeine in X-Gamer Energy peaks at 25-45 minutes upon consumption. Half of the caffeine will wear off after 5 hours and will entirely leave your bloodstream after 12 hours.

After the caffeine leaves your bloodstream, mild after-effects such as tiredness and headache might arise. But then again it varies from person to person, if you have low caffeine tolerance, then you might likely experience these after-effects.

My personal review:

Like all X-Gamer flavors, it’s got too much caffeine for my liking and the boost is a bit too strong for the first half-hour or 45 minutes. But, like the others, I felt fine after the initial “blow your head off boost” and there was no sugar crash, which is good.

Can I Drink X-Gamer Drink Every Day?

Well you can drink X-Gamer Energy every day, but it is not advisable.

We talked earlier about how long caffeine stays before it leaves your bloodstream; 12 hours, that’s almost half of the day.

Supposed that you drink X-Gamer Energy every day, and you don’t let the caffeine subside completely off your system, it is most likely that toxins from the caffeine from your bloodstream may form, and this is something you should be cautious about.

Though X-Gamer Energy doesn’t impose adverse effects immediately, it could be harmful in the long run to include it in your everyday diet.

X-Gamer Energy’s heavy caffeine content is a disadvantage one should never overlook. Personally, I don’t think I can tolerate 200mg caffeine just for one serving. That’s why I carefully choose energy fixes that are low or have average caffeine content to avoid any potential side-effects.

Whether you can drink X-Gamer Energy daily, you definitely could, provided that you consume it in moderate amounts and have a low tolerance to caffeine.

My advice is to stretch out the time of your intake of X-Gamer Energy to give your body the time to flush out all the caffeine. You must also hydrate yourself with water and healthy beverages to balance it out.

Final Thoughts

The takeaway is that it is perfectly fine to drink X-Gamer Energy every day as long as you consume it moderately and maintain a balanced and healthy diet.

That said, if drinking a serving of X-Gamer makes you feel its adverse effects like being jittery and experiencing palpitations, then you should reduce your intake, switch to other drinks which are lower on caffeine, or eat healthier foods that can provide you the same energy boost.

Again, it depends on your caffeine tolerance that determines whether X-Gamer works for you or not.
