Cons Of Adrenaline Shoc
High Caffeine Content
While Adrenaline Shoc contains caffeine made out of natural ingredients, a 16 fl.oz can of this drink has 300mg of caffeine. I think that’s way too much caffeine to have regularly.
For reference, energy drinks generally contain around 50mg to as much as 300mg of caffeine per serving, so it’s safe to say that Adrenaline Shoc is one of the strongest energy drinks out there.
Consuming this much caffeine can do more harm than good, especially if you have a relatively low caffeine tolerance.
Even if you’re an avid caffeine drinker, I wouldn’t recommend having two cans of this drink as you’ll definitely go over the FDA‘s recommended limit of 400mg a day.
Thus, the caffeine content in Adrenaline Shoc is its biggest downside and is something to consider before you include this drink in your regular diet.
Based on my research, Adrenaline Shoc leans more towards the spectrum of expensive energy drinks.
On Amazon, this drink is even more expensive than leading competitors such as Monster Energy. You see, a pack of 12 cans of Adrenaline Shoc (16 fl.oz) is priced at $35, whereas you can get 24 cans of Monster Energy (16 fl.oz) for just $34.
I’m not sure about you, but I definitely think getting a pack of 24 cans for a cheap price is more worth it. However, if it’s within your budget, you won’t see this as a disadvantage.
Does Adrenaline Shoc Contain Artificial Sweeteners?
Since it has no sugar, a 16 fl.oz can of Adrenaline Shoc contains artificial sweeteners such as Acesulfame Potassium (Ace-K) and Sucralose to give the drink sweetness.
Artificial sweeteners are non-caloric sweeteners that are 200 – 600 times sweeter than table sugar, which is why food and beverage companies use them to promote healthy living.
Furthermore, the European Food and Safety Authority (EFSA) has endorsed Sucralose as a great ingredient to regulate your blood sugar levels. This is good news, especially if you have diabetes.
While both Ace-K and Sucralose are FDA approved as safe to consume, research shows that these sweeteners may lead to health issues.
A study conducted on mice found that the consumption of Ace-K has led to an increase in body weight. Although there aren’t studies done on actual humans yet, I think it’s important to be cautious and not overconsume this sweetener.
That said, consuming an excessive amount of Sucralose can potentially lead to health effects such as diarrhoea and nausea.
Plus, the marketing of Sucralose causing weight loss is still inconclusive, so it’s best not to keep your hopes high as it may not work for you.
All in all, I think consuming these artificial sweeteners in moderation won’t leave adverse side effects on you, considering that Adrenaline Shoc doesn’t contain any sugar nor calories.

The side effects of Adrenaline Shoc mainly comes from its insanely high caffeine content, 300mg of caffeine per 16 fl.oz can.
Caffeine is indeed a beneficial ingredient as it can help increase your physical performance. Not to mention the good feeling you get after drinking a cup of caffeinated beverage, as this stimulant is proven to improve your mood.
However, a can of Adrenaline Shoc will wipe out as much as 300mg of your daily caffeine intake. It’s important to note that the FDA recommends a maximum of 400mg for healthy adults a day.
Adrenaline Shoc contains an unhealthy amount of caffeine, in my opinion. I enjoy taking only 50mg of caffeine to 100mg of caffeine since I get jittery and experience heart palpitations.
While one can is still below the recommended daily limit, it’s just as easy to go over the limit, especially if you have no self-control. That said, it’s a given that overconsuming caffeine can lead to several health problems such as:

- Muscle breakdown
- High blood pressure

Not to mention, caffeine is highly associated with gastrointestinal problems, and this can leave you experiencing uncomfortable side effects such as heartburns, sharp and burning sensations in the stomach, or even dysphagia.

As mentioned earlier, caffeine has the power to put you in a good mood while also helping you stay alert and awake. However, if you have no self-control, you’ll eventually become dependent on it.
Caffeine dependence happens when you have a hard time functioning without caffeine and when you find it difficult to cut back.
Moreover, you’re more likely to experience caffeine withdrawals if you include a highly caffeinated drink like Adrenaline Shoc in your regular diet. It can trigger mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.
My advice is, if you’re really keen on drinking Adrenaline Shoc, it’s best to keep your consumption to a minimum as in only have one can of this drink a day.
Considering all the mental and physical health problems I’ve listed above, I don’t see why you would want to risk yourself by going over the recommended limit.
