As such, Reign is great if you’re looking for a low-calorie drink to suit your workout routine or dietary needs, but it’s definitely not going to give you any substantial amount of energy for your cells.
As a reminder, the daily recommended caloric intake for healthy adults is between 2000 to 2400 calories for women and 2400 to 3000 calories for men.
Due to this, Reign is definitely not enough to power you through your workout session solely by itself (neither is it a great meal replacement either), so be sure to stock up on some actual food before hitting the gym with Reign.

While it does look like Reign goes a bit overboard with the amount of B-Vitamins present in the drink, it’s well within suggested Tolerable Upper Intake Limits, so you don’t have to worry too much about the B-Vitamin content of Reign.

A 16 fl. oz. can of Reign Energy has 10 calories. This is way below the daily recommended calorie intake in a healthy adult, i.e. between 2,400 to 3,000 calories for men and 2,000 to 2,400 calories for women.
The amount of calories in Reign is also significantly low compared to other energy drinks in the market. For example, a 8.4 fl. oz. can of Red Bull contains 80 calories and 16 fl. oz. Monster has 210 calories.
As you can see, there isn’t much caloric content in Reign. So, you don’t have to worry about any health issues that may occur as long as you drink in moderation.
Also, it won’t affect your diet. There are people who have included Reign in their keto diet.
How Much Caffeine is in Reign Energy Drink?
Every 16 fl. oz. can of Reign Energy drink features 300mg caffeine content made of fresh tea leaves and green coffee beans.
It is one of the strongest energy drink available in the market alongside its closest competitor Bang.
The amount of caffeine in Reign makes it a perfect workout drink as it increases exercise performance and can help you recover quickly after an intense workout session.
On a side note, it is important to stick with FDA’s guideline, which a recommended daily caffeine intake of maximum 400 mg, to avoid health complications.
Drinking too much caffeine can lead to serious health conditions such as:
- hypertension
- heart problem
- sleeping problems
- addiction
On the other hand, caffeine also present possible health benefits if taken in moderation which includes:

As both sucralose and acesulfame potassium are zero-calorie sweeteners, you’ll be getting the sweetness without all the guilt that comes along with it, which is a plus.
While controversies about the long-term use of artificial sweeteners do exist, the FDA has approved them for general use, so as long as you’re not consuming too many artificial sweeteners in your food, you should be alright.

If consumed in moderation, Reign Energy drink is definitely not going to be detrimental to health, so long as you’re able to tolerate it’s high caffeine content.
Reign Energy has higher caffeine content compared to other energy drinks.
It is also one of the strongest energy drinks available and it could be a problem if you happen to be caffeine sensitive or if you’re new to caffeinated beverages.
But, it’s matter of discovering your level of caffeine sensitivity and researching about the energy drink that suits your needs.
Is Reign better than Red Bull?
There are several reasons why Reign is preferable to Red Bull. For starters, Reign has no sugar, whereas Red Bull contains 27 grams of sugar per can. This means that Reign will not give you the crash that you might get from Red Bull.
