Caffeine in Musashi
Each can of Musashi Energy contains 160mg of caffeine, a moderate amount for a healthy adult to consume in a day.
As per the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recommendations, an adult should not consume more than 400mg of caffeine daily.
When consumed in moderation, caffeine can boost your energy levels, wake you up, provide mental clarity, effectively reduce fatigue, etc. However, consuming more than 400mg or your tolerance level could lead to serious side effects.
These side effects include insomnia, anxiety, body tremors, increased heart rate, and a spike in blood pressure, etc.
Sugar in Musashi
Musashi does not have any sugar. It uses Sucralose, an artificial sweetener, to sweeten and flavour the drink.
Sucralose is an artificial sweetener derived from sugar. It is comparatively healthier as it does not contain carbs. The American Diabetes Association also approves it as suitable and harmless for diabetic people.
It is also advisable to consume artificial sweeteners cautiously because sugar substitutes do not mean you are making healthy choices. Too much of it can be detrimental.
Each 500ml can of Musashi Energy drink contains only five calories which are excellent. It will not have you bargaining for calories and nutrition throughout the day.
The recommended calories for an adult female lies between 2000 to 2400 calories per day, while men should consume 2400 to 3000 calories per day.
Nowadays, the demand for energy drinks is increasing worldwide. It has been found that one in every four adults consume at least one energy drinks per week. This number isn’t even surprising. Energy drinks have been linked to several deaths and other severe health problems worldwide because of the hefty amounts of calories, caffeine, and sugar.
So, it is always best to stick to the daily limit.

Musashi Energy Flavours
Musashi energy drink comes in three fun flavours such as;
Not the best flavour I’ve had; it is a little too carbonated and fizzy, which is a huge downside for me. I also found the flavour to be too weak for my liking, I prefer my energy drinks tasting a little stronger.
It leaves a sugary taste in your mouth for a while after having the drink. Overall, I’d give it an 8/10.
I found this one to be better than Purple Grape flavour, it’s a slightly stronger flavour but not as much as I would like.
Also very fizzy, although this might not be an issue for most, so for me, it’s an 8.5/10. However, it still depends on your taste. I might like what you don’t like and vice versa.
This is another great tasting flavour and I found this better than both Blue Raspberry and Purple Grape.
It’s not too carbonated, just the right amount and the flavour doesn’t taste as “weak.” I would rate it a 9/10.

Some notable brands
Musashi is a good enough option for anyone looking for a refreshing energy drink with a bearable taste. It contains a good amount of caffeine which effectively aids in boosting physical and mental performance throughout the day.
Moreover, the drink is sugar-free and very low in calories, making it eligible to be consumed daily.
The only con to the Musashi energy drink is that it is pretty expensive, as a 500ml Musashi drink can cost $4. You can find multiple energy drinks with similar qualities at a much lower price if you prefer. But feel free to try Musashi and see for yourself. Who knows, right?
