Sugar Content

Sugar
Sugar is used as both a sweetener and an energy source in the majority of energy drinks.

OxyShred features an amicable 0g of sugar, which is always a plus point.

However, sugar is used as both a sweetener and an energy source in the majority of energy drinks. OxyShred, on the other hand, boosts its users with substances such as taurine, L-Carnitine, Glycine, and, of course, caffeine. There are various drawbacks to putting sugar in your drink.

This association recommends a daily sugar limit of 36g for males and 25g for women. You can avoid these health problems by eating less sugar:

  • Vascular conditions
  • Diabetes
  • Skin aging
  • Gaining weight
  • Elevated blood pressure

So how does OxyShred manage to sweeten their drinks without sugar? With sucralose.

Sucralose

OxyShred Energy uses sucralose, a sweetener that does not include sugar, to provide a sweet flavor. Sucralose is the most widely used artificial sweetener on the market. It’s also approved by the FDA, which further accentuated its reliability.

Sucrose, sometimes known as table sugar, is a naturally existing sugar that may be found in a variety of natural organic goods. Sucralose, on the other hand, is a man-made sugar that is frequently used as a sugar replacement.

Sucralose is sweeter than table sugar in terms of flavor. While Sucralose is usually deemed harmless by most individuals, Sugar has significant adverse effects that cause many to avoid Sugar-containing goods.

Caloric Content

OxyShred Energy Drink features a measly 5 calories per serving (one scoop).

Calories are the most basic forms of energy that your body consumes. The amount of energy you accumulate is determined by the number of calories you consume; thus, more calories equals more energy.

So it’s important to monitor your caloric intake as too much or too little will ultimately lead to major health implications.

However it should be noted that Oxyshred would have no substantial effect on your weight, and the energy boost you’ll experience is primarily due to its caffeine concentration.

This ultimately makes Oxyshred Energy a perfect beverage to use as a lifeline whenever you need a pick-me-up or to focus on your regular duties. Oxyshred may make you feel excited, but it will not help you feel less hungry.

Unlike sugar, your body needs quite a bit to function efficiently, in terms of numbers, the recommended daily calorie consumption for women is 2000 calories and 2,500 for men.

If you are on a calorie-restricted diet or trying to avoid gaining weight, you may enjoy Oxyshred Energy without feeling guilty about consuming more calories.

Caffeine Concentration

Caffeine
. Caffeine is a naturally occurring alkaloid that has been utilized for thousands of years in medicine.

OxyShred Energy Drink contains 113mg of caffeine in a single supplement and gets its caffeine from three sources: dehydrated caffeine, extracts of green tea, and extracts from guarana seeds.

So it’s entirely natural in terms of caffeine origin. Caffeine is a naturally occurring alkaloid that has been utilized for thousands of years in medicine. Caffeine improves alertness and focus, and it may also aid those who suffer from sleeplessness. Green tea extract is abundant in antioxidants, much like green tea.

These have been linked to a variety of health advantages, including improved heart, liver, and brain health, improved skin, and even a decreased risk of cancer. Caffeine in guarana stimulates and revitalizes the skin by boosting blood flow, making it firmer and more rejuvenated.

Ultimately, Caffeine is also another drug, which is why it has its own fair share of side effects. Here is a list of the common side effects:

  • Insomnia
  • Headaches
  • Dizziness
  • Rapid heart rhythm
  • Restlessness and shakiness
  • Anxiety

Flavor Review

Oxyshred comes in 8 delicious flavors, which are:

  1. Cotton Candy
  2. Cali Cola
  3. Gummy Snake
  4. Kiwi Strawberry
  5. Peach Candy Rings
  6. Passionfruit
  7. Guava Paradise
  8. Pina Colada

Now unfortunately I wasn’t able to taste every single flavor due to the sheer quantity, however here’s a rating of the flavors I did taste:

Guava Paradise (7 out of 10)

The Guava flavor is a sweet, fragrant tropical fruity flavor that I enjoyed thoroughly. EHP Labs has not only created a fantastic guava flavor, but they have also added natural guava extract in the mix (always a plus point).

Guava Paradise is one of OxyShred’s more delicate flavors, and it’s a good choice for those who don’t like strong flavors. Notwithstanding this, the taste of the active substances, some of which are not particularly pleasant, such as taurine and caffeine is almost imperceptible.

Kiwi Strawberry (8 out of 10):

If there is one thing that can be said about the OxyShred flavors in general, it is that EHP Labs has done an outstanding job of ensuring a natural taste that bears resemblance to the real deal.

The finest example would be Kiwi Strawberry (even more so than Guava). It would be simple to blend these two flavors into a terribly sweet syrup, but instead, you get a delightful, subtle flavor with hints of both fruits. It’s easy to think that this flavor was created with a sweet tooth in mind, yet it’s tasty and simple to drink, and it’s something that I adore.

Passionfruit (10 out of 10):

Like the previously mentioned Oxyshred flavors, they nail the wafting scent of the fruit, which is identical to the original Passionfruit.

With a sweet zing of passionfruit with each sip, I have to admit that I didn’t find anything wrong with the flavor, except that it ended. It was like the love child of pineapple and mango combined with a tarty personality all its own.
