Being the first brand of energy drink in the country, it’s evident that its name is popular among regular drinkers.

I actually like the ingredients used in Red Eye. It only has one preservative, which is a big plus compared to those with two to three kinds. It also used a variety of extracts instead of sticking to only one.

The only thing that I didn’t like about Red Eye here is the amount of sugar. I’d personally opt for sugar-free drinks to avoid jitters and sugar crashes. I also think this won’t be ideal for diabetic people.

When it comes to sugar, you already know my thoughts about it. I don’t think it’s necessary to have 36.3g of sugar along with the existing caffeine and Taurine in the drink. This will surely give you a sugar crash even with one serving.

For calories, it isn’t that high, but 149 calories aren’t ideal for those that are on a diet either. If you aren’t on any special or controlled intake, however, then you won’t have to worry about this.
