Sneak Energy VS X-Gamer (Detailed)

With the rising popularity of esports and competitive gaming, the demand for energy drinks among gamers has increased a great deal.

Faster reflexes and a greater attention span are essentials in playing video games, and so young enthusiasts have turned towards energy-boosting consumables to provide these for them.

Coupled with this, popular gaming streamers and YouTubers have also started promoting drinking energy drinks. This has been another major factor in the emergence of new energy drinks specifically targeted towards gamers.

Two such drinks are Sneak and X-Gamer. Both have a powdered formula and promise to energize you through long sessions of Call of Duty or The Witcher.

Now, let’s put the two to the test, and let’s see which is better! I mean, you wouldn’t want to crash right in the middle of a boss fight, right?

While both drinks work and have optimal amounts of ingredients to allow them to do so, my personnel preference from among the two is Sneak. It has an appealing taste, fewer calories, and is just overall much better than X-Gamer.

Sneak Vs. X-Gamer

I have compiled the information on all essential components of both brands and put them head-to-head.

Caffeine

Each 10 gram serving of Sneak Energy contains 150mg of caffeine while X-Gamer contains 200mg.

Before you get to any conclusions just from these quantities, note that more does not mean better in this case.

Caffeine can be harmful when taken in excess, and the large quantities present in both can be harmful if not consumed in moderation.

The FDA recommends a daily maximum intake limit of 400mg of caffeine, to compare with X-Gamer, this amount can be met even if you have only two servings.

Excessive consumption of caffeine can lead to the following side effects:

  • Insomnia
  • Headaaches
  • Dizziness
  • Dehydration
  • Anxiety

Make sure you don’t have more than one serving of either of the energy drinks in a single day.

Sugar

Sneak and X-Gamer are both free of any added sugar.

They instead use artificial sweeteners in place of sugar. Sucralose is the common sweetener between both drinks and is present in each serving.

It is 600 times more sweetener than sugar and does not include the added calories that come with the latter.

While most experts agree that Sucralose is safe to consume, questions have been raised regarding the ingredient’s health factors.

However, no solid evidence has come forth that ultimately proves Sucralose to be unsafe. I would still recommend you practice moderation when drinking either drink to be safe.

Sneak also contains another sweetener, Acesulfame Potassium. It is 200 times sweeter than regular sugar

It is usually blended with Sucralose to mask the bitter aftertaste left by the sweetener.

Calories

One aspect where both drinks vary a great deal is their calorie contents. Sneak only contains 12 calories while X-Gamer has a tremendous 129 calories.

The amount in Sneak is pretty insignificant, it can be burned by some light exercises or a quick jog in your local park.

For reference, the daily calorie limit for men is 2500 and for women, it’s 2000.

While the amount in X-Gamer might seem not very much when compared to this limit, it is still very considerable if you are not fit and rarely work out.

Which Works Better?

Both drinks have similar energizers present.

Sneak and X-Gamer come packed with several B Vitamins, these are essential in boosting energy as they convert carbohydrates to glucose within the body.

Taurine is another common ingredient, it is essential in boosting athletic performance.

The only variable in this category is the amount of caffeine. X-Gamer contains a higher amount of caffeine at 200mg while Sneak contains 150mg.

Caffeine affects everyone differently. For some, the amount in Sneak can be more than enough to get through the day, while others might need the extra 50mg punch in X-Gamer to function better throughout the day.

You can have small doses of your preferred energy drink and try to figure out how much of it is enough to get you energized.

Which Tastes Better?

Sneak has just the right ratio of sweet/ sour. It isn’t too sour to make it unpleasant, but just enough to make your tongue tingle.

It comes in five different flavors, my favorite being the Purple Storm.

X-Gamer on the other hand has six different flavors, a higher quantity by a slight margin.

The caramel flavor tastes like the names suggest, similar to Carmel. It’s not bad but did not appeal to me the way Sneak did.

You can watch a more detailed review of X-Gamer’s taste in the video below.

Can you drink Sneak and X-Gamer if you have celiac disease?

Due to the lack of information on Sneak’s gluten content on their official website, those with celiac disease should avoid consuming this product. Also, even though the materials used to make X-Gamer are not known to contain gluten, the energy powder may contain tiny amounts of gluten due to the risk of cross-contamination.

It’s possible that drinking energy drinks containing gluten might make the condition worse. That is why, in my view, you should avoid Sneak and X Gamer energy drinks as it’s not yet been verified to be gluten-free.

Can you drink Sneak and X-Gamer if you are on a diet?

You may ingest the macronutrients in Sneak Energy and X-Gamer while you’re on a diet. All of the formulations are safe for everyday use since their macronutrient content is within the range suggested by nutritionists.

Although energy drinks might help you feel more alert, they are not an effective weight loss solution on their own. Instead, you should think about incorporating healthy eating habits and regular exercise into your daily routine.

Do energy drinks break ketosis?

In the absence of added sugar, energy drinks do not interfere with ketosis. Since they contain so few calories, sugar-free, keto-friendly energy drinks are typically safe for entering and sustaining ketosis.

If you eat too many carbohydrates, you will be forced out of ketosis and won’t be able to get back into it for at least a week. Meanwhile, your efforts to slim down may be derailed.”

Sneak and X-Gamer Alternatives

If neither Sneak nor X-Gamer fit your needs, here are a few other energy drinks you can try instead.

Final Verdict

The main difference lies between the calorie amounts and their tastes.

X-Gamer has a significantly higher number of calories. While the calories in Sneak are next to none, I would only recommend you to take X-Gamer if you are confident you can burn its calories off.

The next difference is their tastes. While this depends on the particular customer, I much prefer Sneak to X-Gamer.

Have a try of both to see which you like best!
