Spark Ignite Energy Shot Caffeine & Ingredients (Complete)

Spark Energy Shot is a performance energy shot created by Australian football icon Brent Harvey. It’s marketed as a pre-workout drink that will get you through even the most intense gym sessions.

But unlike most pre-workouts you would encounter, Spark Ignite actually contains a very low 32 mg of caffeine and has no added sugar.

Personally, this is one of the lowest caffeinated energy drinks I’ve encountered (barring non-caffeinated energy drinks of course), especially since pre-workouts are usually loaded with caffeine and other energizers.

Well, Spark Ignite chose a very different route. It formulated three special amino acids and micronutrients to up athletes’ game and prepare them for the physical demands of their workouts.

You can say that it ignites your body and mind, giving you enough energy to bench 405LBS impressing all your gym bros.

If you want to maximize your performance, drink Spark Shot 10 minutes before training or competing, as its carefully chosen energy-boosting ingredients take effect within 10 minutes.

Caffeine In Spark Ignite

As I previously mentioned, the caffeine in Spark Ignite is incredibly low at 32 mg.

This is perfect for those who have just started drinking caffeinated drinks or have low caffeine tolerance. However, if you’re already used to drinking highly-caffeinated drinks, Spark Ignite’s 32 mg may seem puny to you.

In my opinion, it’s still better to stay on the safe side and go with minimal amounts of caffeine since going overboard can have disastrous effects.

The following side effects can be caused by caffeine:

  • Restlessness and shakiness
  • Insomnia
  • Headaches
  • Dizziness
  • Rapid or abnormal heart rhythm
  • Dehydration
  • Anxiety

According to the FDA, caffeine consumption should not exceed 400 mg per day for healthy individuals. For the equivalent amount of caffeine, you would need to drink four 8-ounce cups of coffee or ten cola sodas. That might sound like a lot; however, some energy drinks such as RedLine contain 320mg of caffeine in a single serving, which is only a hair away from the daily limit.

Therefore, it’s safe to say that you won’t be trespassing that limits any time soon if you do choose Spark Ignite as your go-to drink.

Sugar Content in Spark Energy Shot

Spark Ignite does not contain any added sugar.

Because Spark Energy Shot does not contain sugar, you will not experience sugar crashes when the effect wears off. Furthermore, you do not have to keep track of how much sugar you consume.

This drink could be consumed by people with diabetes without them having to worry about their blood-glucose levels spiking.

According to the American Heart Association (AHA), men and women should consume 36 grams of sugar per day, and 25 grams per day, respectively. Those who exceed the limit may experience these side effects:

  • Cavities
  • Inflammation
  • Overeating
  • Increased waist size
  • Weight gain
  • Skin aging
  • Wrinkles

Stevia Content In Spark Energy Shot

As there is no sugar in Spark Energy Shot, Stevia is used instead to give it the sweet taste.

There are no calories, carbohydrates, or artificial ingredients in stevia, yet it is about 100 to 300 times sweeter than table sugar.

However, stevia is not to everyone’s liking. Depending on who you ask, stevia tastes like menthol to some people and bitter to others

Active Ingredients In Spark Energy Shot

Spark Energy Shot contains a blend of 3 active ingredients. These ingredients combine to create an optimal performance environment both individually and synergistically.

Other than the ingredient list, there is not much information regarding what’s inside the bottle on the bottle itself.

However, on their website, it is mentioned that the drink has 3 active ingredients in the form of 3 sparks, as described below:

Spark 1

This amino acid regularly significantly increases our bodies’ carnosine levels.

Carnosine is integral in many of our bodily functions. But it primarily prevents aging and helps treat nerve damage.

More importantly, it helps you recover faster after tiring workouts since it’s an ingredient in protein building. Carnosine is naturally produced by your body but some pharmaceutical companies have produced

Spark 2

Spark 2 is another amino acid that enhances athletic abilities.

It works by jacking up your arousal levels—now, not that sort of arousal, you dirty-minded freak.

A big part of arousal

An amino acid that helps athletes perform to the best of their abilities in training and competition by promoting arousal levels, and now not that sort of arousal, you dirty-minded freak.

Dopamine is commonly known as the “pleasure chemical” due to its effects on increasing contentment and drive; it is a sort of reward system for your brain whenever you achieve something noteworthy.

Arousal, alertness, motivation, and concentration all help unlock dopamine and Spark 2 assists you in that!

Spark 3

Spark 3, on the other hand, is a group of water-soluble micronutrients.

The body needs these micronutrients when converting proteins and sugars into energy and when producing and repairing cells such as red blood cells.

This nutrient helps convert stored fats into useable energy for the muscles, making them exponentially increase in strength and efficiency. It might even aid in weight loss.

Beta-Alanine in Spark Energy Shot

Spark Energy Shot contains beta-alanine, an amino acid naturally made by the body.

In order to produce carnosine, beta-alanine is necessary. This substance is involved in your muscles’ ability to endure high-intensity exercise.

When you exercise, carnosine reduces lactic acid buildup in your muscles, improving your performance and stamina dramatically. Thus, it enables you to exercise for more extended periods of time.

Beta-alanine is most effective when used in short-term exercises lasting one to several minutes. In addition to reducing fatigue, beta-alanine can increase exercise capacity and endurance.

Can You Drink Spark Energy Shot Every Day?

Spark Ignite Energy Shot is suitable for daily consumption.

Since Spark Ignite contains only 32 mg of caffeine, it is nowhere near the recommended daily limit. It also does not have any sugar and has just 1.6 g of carbohydrates, so it’s safe to consume.

If the energy boost is not strong enough for you, you can drink another bottle of Spark Ignite!

As an added bonus, Spark Energy Shot contains no calories. Spark Energy Shot will not increase your daily calorie intake by these negligible amounts, even if you drink it daily, so you don’t have to worry about it messing up your diet plans.

Conclusion

Spark Energy Shot is an excellent energy-boosting drink with 32 mg of caffeine. With such low caffeine content, the drink is still capable of providing a jolt of energy.

It does not contain any sugar, so there is no chance of you getting sugar crashes afterwards. Also, you will be saved from the drastic effects of sugar on your body.

I do like that their blend is specially-formulated and that they’re not reliant on calories or caffeine for their energy boost. God knows there are too many brands out there that have such huge amounts of calories and caffeine that can be unsafe for your health.

Conclusively, Spark Energy Shot is a well-performing energy booster that you can consume daily, so don’t hesitate to give it a try!
