Where Can You Buy G Fuel Cans? (Buying Guide)

Having a varied lineup is great in many ways. There’s always something for everyone, and brands get a lot of room to innovate, such as G Fuel providing canned energy drinks in addition to their more popular, powdered version.

But not all products are created equal, and accessibility can be another issue.

Fortunately, both of those are problems I can help you with.

4 G Fuel Cans

There are several ways in which you can get a hold of G Fuel cans. You can buy from the store, search online, or ask a friend to buy them for you if the brand isn’t available where you live. If this is the case, it might be best to visit the G Fuel official page and purchase directly from there.

As G Fuel isn’t accessible to all parts of the world, it’s understandable to search online for sources. For your buying needs and other questions, here’s a complete buying guide on the popular energy drink.

If you’re curious as to what the percentages are referring to, they represent the percent daily value. You might have seen this more than once since this is usually represented as %DV on the food labels.

%DV is how much of your daily need for a nutrient you get from consuming a certain product.

If the nutritional label says G Fuel cans have 4mg of Niacin or 25% DV, that means you get 25% of your daily need of Niacin from drinking one serving of G Fuel.

Manufacturers make it possible for you to make informed and responsible decisions on what you eat and drink by indicating these percentages on the label.

So it’s important to always read before you buy anything. More so if you have health conditions that need to be managed with adjustments to your diet.

G Fuel Can Calorie Content

G Fuel cans are considered a zero calorie product.

Calories are a measure of the amount of energy any food or drink gives you after digestion.  So whether you love or hate them, you need them to keep yourself energized throughout the day.

Calories are good in that they give you the energy you need to get through the day, but taking in more than you need will result in the extra being stored as (you guessed it) fat.

That makes keeping a healthy diet more about striking a balance than anything else. You can’t avoid them since they’re everywhere, so might as well just learn to handle them properly.

See, the “zero calories” label isn’t meant to be taken literally. It actually means the food or beverage in question has less than 5 calories overall.

I can see how this could be disappointing. It still means you’re less likely to go overboard with a G Fuel can than you would be with any of the other brands that have more calories to go with their caffeine and sugar content.

So how many calories is too much?

Generally, the recommended calorie intake is 2000 a day for women and 2500 for men. But in practice, it varies from person to person depending on several factors. Examples of these factors are age, lifestyle, and body size.

Is There Sugar in a G Fuel Can?

G Fuel Cans have no sugar content.

And unlike the idea of “zero calories”, this one is actually possible. No need to sacrifice any of the taste and flavor G Fuel is known for either.

Instead of sugar, G Fuel gets its flavor from artificial and natural sweeteners.

These sweeteners are sugar substitutes that companies and even ordinary people use to cut down on sugar (and calories) without having to worry about their products tasting terrible.

In G Fuel, the artificial sweeteners are Sucralose and Acesulfame Potassium (Ace-K). The natural sweetener is Steviol Glycosides (Stevia).

Sucralose is an artificial sweetener derived from sugar. It’s made from a process wherein a few hydrogen-oxygen groups are replaced with chlorine atoms. This causes sucralose to be a substance that isn’t absorbed by the digestive system and is safe to consume.

Meanwhile, Ace-K is made in a laboratory by mixing Acetoacetic acid with Potassium. Although it’s used as a sweetener, it has a bitter aftertaste. So companies usually mix it with sucralose or some other artificial sweetener when used to flavor a product.

Stevia, on the other hand, is a natural sweetener derived from the Bertoni plant. The Bertoni plant is found in Brazil and has been used in food for centuries. Its crude extract is also sold as a dietary supplement.

All of these are considered zero-calorie products, so they’re popular among people looking to lose weight.

How Much Caffeine is in a G Fuel Can?

Each 16 fl.oz G Fuel can has 300mg of caffeine.

Caffeine is considered a stimulant that works by blocking adenosine, which is a hormone your brain secretes to promote tiredness and sleepiness throughout the day. It also works within minutes of consumption and stays in your body for hours after.

Though this makes caffeine reat for keeping you awake at work and at school, it can also result in some unpleasant health repercussions. Especially if you go above the 400mg daily limit experts recommend.

The most common side effects of caffeine are:

  • Insomnia
  • Anxiety
  • Feeling agitated
  • Headaches

So it’s not recommended to take any source of caffeine (G Fuel can included) too soon before bedtime.

How To Order G Fuel Cans Online?

G Fuel Cans

G Fuel’s official website has a store locator that will allow you to locate stores near you.

Besides that, buying from the official site will allow you to view a complete list of all their flavors. This is true for both the cans and other G Fuel products.

When you buy G Fuel cans from the official website, you’re given the choice between buying a 4-pack or a 12-pack.

Before shipping fees kick in, the prices are as follows:

PackPrice
4 cans Around $11
12 cans Around $32
Official Site Price

Now, here are a few things to consider before you decide to buy from the official website:

  • Purchasing G Fuel from the official site can gain you points that can be used to get discounts on later purchases.
  • You’re only allowed a 24-can limit per order
  • G Fuel only ships within the US. Other variants however can be shipped out to selected areas.

Expect a total of 8 days between when you order the cans and when they arrive. So plan your purchases carefully if you plan on drinking G Fuel cans often or if you want to give some away as a gift.

Why Order Online?

The most obvious reason is that it’s more convenient to shop for energy drinks on the web than going to the actual store. Since G Fuel isn’t available in some countries, it’s reasonable to shop online than having to fly out for several packs.

It can also save you the trouble of leaving the house and needing to worry about how you’re going to fit the cans in with everything else you bought.

But the best thing about ordering online this: It’s cheaper

Outside of shipping fees, ordering online is cheaper since sellers don’t need to charge as much. This is because all the factors that normally go into consideration when settling on a price for a physical store like employee salary and the rent won’t apply here. Unlike in a convenience store where prices are higher than the grocery.

Ebay

Ebay is also a good place to look if you’re looking for the limited edition flavors that are otherwise hard to find.

However, the prices tend to vary widely on eBay because everything in the listings is from a different seller. Some 4-pack flavors are available at around $9, others are more or less around $15.

There is good news though. On Ebay, you can contact the seller directly and negotiate for a better price if you want.

Amazon

Amazon does sell G Fuel cans however, their supply of G Fuel cans is much lower than their supply of G Fuel powder.

The search results for G Fuel cans are also mixed in with results from other brands and G Fuel powder. And if they aren’t available, you won’t see the price either.

Shopee

Unfortunately, Shoppee doesn’t sell G Fuel cans at this time.

Most of the search results for G Fuel cans are either the powder formula or unrelated results that might not even be energy drinks.

This has more to do with there not being any sellers at this time than Shoppee itself though.

If ever Shoppee does end up with a decent supply of G Fuel cans, it would be the ideal place for an overseas buyer to look if they live somewhere in Southeast Asia, Mexico, or Brazil.

Shoppee shows you where the seller is in addition to displaying the price in your country’s currency. It also tells you which items are on discount even when you’re just on the search results page.

That means outside the small shipping fees, it’s easy to get a feel of how much buying will cost you overall.

Wallmart

Walmart sells G Fuel cans that usually come in packs of 12 and cost $23.75 each.

They also delivers quickly. You can choose to either get it the same day you order or use the 2-day delivery. Whichever one you choose is of little consequence cost-wise, since they’re both free.

The catch is that Walmart doesn’t ship outside the US. Buyers from the US do get free shipping if they have a Walmart+ account. Non-Walmart+ users can also get free shipping of their purchases if they exceed $35. Otherwise, they need to play a flat rate of $5.99 per order.

Final Thoughts

In my opinion, G Fuel cans are best bought from the official site.

Opening a tab for the official site might be tedious, but the point system’s discounts are worth it. It also allows you to get an accurate image of the availability and a complete list of the flavors G Fuel has on sale.

Maybe it’s because it’s a new addition to the brand, but I also think the cans are harder to find and buy than the original powder formula. More so if you live outside the US.

Whatever the case is now or later, I think it’s best to go with whatever site is most appropriate for your wallet and circumstances.

The prices on their own aren’t that bad. But if the shipping fees the site or seller options outweigh the pros of buying from them, might as well find a new place to look.
