The short answer on whether you can drink Venom Energy Drink every day is pretty much no. Venom has too much sugar and with 54g a serving, it’s basically an excessive sugar rush in a can. I would reckon to say that even one can a day is too much.

Does Venom Energy Drink Work?

Before you decide to drink Venom Energy Drink every day, you must first determine whether it’s effective.

To know whether it can really energize you, the energy drink should have certain ingredients that can provide energy for your body and you can assess that by reading the nutrition facts label and ingredients of Venom Energy Drink.

Nutrition facts are a way of companies informing you about the nutrients that are contained in their product, it’s required by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on most packaged foods and beverages. The nutrition facts label helps you understand how much you’re consuming and can lead to healthier choices.

By definition, ingredients are what’s used to make something. This means that to make an energy drink like Venom Energy Drink, certain ingredients are specifically chosen to give the energy boost that you’re longing for in your body.

Reading the ingredients can make you aware of what you’re putting inside your body. That’s why I made you a list of ingredients that each 16 fl.oz can of Venom Energy Drink have:

Caffeine

There are two main ingredients that most energy drinks have, one of which is caffeine. It’s the ingredient that makes energy drink possible. Why? It’s simply because caffeine blocks the adenosine receptors which basically means caffeine prevents you from feeling sleepy.

According to the FDA, the recommended intake of caffeine for healthy adults is 400mg — this amount of caffeine is equivalent to approximately four or five cups of coffee.

Although you should keep in mind that there’s wide variation in both how fast a person metabolizes (breaks down) caffeine and how sensitive they are to the effects of caffeine.

Fortunately, Venom Energy Drink has 160mg of caffeine. It sure is a lot, but it doesn’t exceed the recommended intake for caffeine. This means that consuming Venom Energy Drink can certainly energize you to satisfy your physical and mental activities throughout the day.

It will take you three cans of Venom Energy Drink to overconsume caffeine. If that ever happens, you’ll feel some symptoms like:

  • Dizziness
  • Diarrhea
  • Increased thirst
  • Insomnia
  • Headache
  • Irregular or Fast Heartbeat
  • Nausea
  • Fever
  • Irritability

Added Sugar

The second main ingredient of most energy drinks is added sugar. It doesn’t really add nutrition value to the energy drink since it only adds color, texture, preserves the beverage, and makes it more flavorful.

The source of this sugar is high fructose corn syrup, which is a sugar-based sweetener derived from corn syrup. You may think that it’s healthier than table sugar, but the truth is that it’s just as bad as table sugar.

The American Health Association (AHA) suggests that you should limit yourself to no more than 100 calories (about 6tsp or 24g) of added sugar per day for women and less than 150 calories (about 9tsp or 36g) of added sugar for men.

Sadly, a single can of Venom Energy Drink has a lot of sugar. It contains 54g of added sugar which is nowhere near the recommended intake for women nor men.

Too much consumption of sugar can lead to serious health problems:

  • Cardiovascular diseases
  • Diabetes
  • Acne
  • Obesity

However, you can avoid all these side effects if you do consistent healthy habits like eating a balanced diet and exercising daily.

Artificial Sweeteners

Surprisingly, Venom Energy Drink also contains an artificial sweetener (it’s also used to enhance the taste and flavor of Venom Energy Drink). They’re mostly sweeter than sugar yet doesn’t contain any calories. The artificial sweetener that Venom Energy Drink contains is sucralose.

Sucralose is a better alternative to regular sugar since it doesn’t cause any changes in levels of your blood sugar. It has no aftertaste which is a common problem with artificial sweeteners like acesulfame potassium.

This artificial sweetener has also been validated by the FDA, so you don’t have to worry about whether the artificial sweetener is safe to consume or not — as long as it’s not consumed too much of course.

How Many Venom Energy Drinks a Day Are Safe?

A single can of Venom Energy Drink is generally considered safe, but as much as possible, prevent yourself from the notion of trying to consume it every day.

As you can see, Venom Energy Drink contains a lot of sugar and the recommended intake of caffeine is suggested for healthy adults – so if you’re living an unhealthy life, don’t even bother trying to reach 400mg of caffeine per day.

If you really want to drink something every day, then water is your way to go. It keeps you hydrated, regulates your body temperature, and even helps maintain your blood pressure.

If that’s not enough to make you abstain from energy drinks, there are other alternatives that are healthier and even more flavorful than Venom Energy Drink! Some examples are ginger root tea, green juices, smoothies, protein shakes, yerba mate, fresh juice, and coffee.

Is It Okay To Drink Venom Energy Drink Every Day?

No, it’s not okay to drink Venom every day, even having one can a day is too much in my opinion.

I personally think that drinking Venom Energy Drink every day isn’t worth it, especially with all that sugar. Imagine what you can do to your body if you only drink energy drinks in moderation or even stop drinking Venom Energy drinks at all.

There are plenty of other ways to get your daily caffeine fix, so while Venom Energy may be easy on the tongue, having tea or a coffee may prove a lot less damaging for your health in the long run.

As always, too much of anything can be pretty bad for you, and in Venom’s case, all that sugar is definitely not something I would recommend consuming every day.

Conclusion

I love energy drinks, but so do a lot of other people. However, the general populace is largely uninformed about the dangers of some of the ingredients used in these products.

There are some genuinely great brands out there with zero sugar, zero calories, and without an insane amount of caffeine strong enough to knock out a rhino. Unfortunately, Venom just doesn’t make the cut.

With over 54g of sugar per serving, you can practically get a sugar overdose on the product with one sip. So unless you’re actively trying to get a sugar rush or long-term health issue, you probably shouldn’t drink Venom every day.

In fact, even one can a day is too much sugar in my opinion, but if you’re still unsure, go ask your local physician the next time you go for a checkup or consult a health specialist on the matter.

In any case, while energy drinks are not for everyone, some energy drinks are definitely a lot worse for your health than others, and in Venom’s case, you’re probably better off with a less sugar-filled brand if you’re hankering for a quick energy boost.
