The quick answer would be no if you drink it occasionally. Venom has a ton of caffeine that can certainly energize you throughout the day, but too much caffeine can lead to health problems. Venom also has a lot of sugar, so don’t make this energy drink a part of your diet.

Natural sugars are considered good sugars (as they have more nutrients per calorie), while added sugar are those that don’t benefit your body.

If you’re wondering why added sugar is used as an ingredient, even though it’s not beneficial to the body, it’s simply because it makes products like energy drinks more flavorful, adds texture, adds color, and to be honest, who doesn’t love sugar?

Vitamin B2

Also known as riboflavin, this vitamin is needed every day. The reason being is that your body can only store few amounts of it and supplies go down rapidly.

Vitamin B2 plays an important role in maintaining your body’s energy supply, it also helps break down proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.

According to Dr. Sherry Ross, vitamin B2 or riboflavin also have other benefits like using it for the development and function of your skin, lining of the digestive tract, blood cells, and other vital organs.

If you want to get vitamin B2, you can get it from foods/beverages like:

Vitamin B3

Every part of your body needs niacin or vitamin B3, which is why it’s an important nutrient. It’s water-soluble, just like any other B Vitamins.

Lowering your LDL cholesterol, increasing your HDL cholesterol, lowering your triglycerides, potentially helping you prevent heart diseases, and boosting your brain function are some of the benefits that you can reap if you decide to consume vitamin B3.

Vitamin B6 or pyridoxine has several functions for your body, it’s vital for the creation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Is It Okay To Drink Venom Energy Drink Every Day?

No, it’s not okay to drink Venom Energy Drink every day. Although drinking a single can of energy drinks (like Venom Energy Drink) daily is considered safe, it can lead to unhealthy habits. Drinking it every day can make you dependent on the beverage, this can lead to side effects which I’ll discuss explicitly later.

If you really love Venom Energy Drink but also care for your health, I suggest you drink the beverage occasionally and do a lot of healthy activities like eating healthy foods and exercising. That way you can enjoy consuming the energy drink without having to worry about the adverse effects that it can bring to your body.

Are There Side Effects in Drinking Venom Energy Drinks?

A while ago, I stated the functions of the different ingredients that Venom Energy Drink has, but what will happen if you drink too much Venom Energy Drink? Different ingredients have different recommended intakes and as well as their own side effects. I’ll explain it further as you keep reading.

Overconsumption of Caffeine

In a single can of Venom Energy drink, there’s 160mg of caffeine. It’s a lot of caffeine, but it doesn’t exceed the recommended intake of caffeine for healthy adults which amounts to 400mg per day.

Drinking too much caffeine can lead to adverse effects like:

  • Restlessness
  • Jittery
  • Insomnia
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Digestive Issues
  • Dizziness
  • Headaches
  • Rapid Heart Rate
  • Muscle Breakdown
  • Anxiety
  • Frequent Urination

Too Much Added Sugar

A lot of negative health effects can happen when your sugar intake exceeds the recommended amount of sugar – the American Health Association (AHA) advises you to limit your sugar intake to no more than 100 calories (24g) per day for women and 150 calories (36g) per day for men.

Venom Energy Drink has 54g of added sugar and exceeding the recommended amount can lead to health problems like:

High Taurine Content

However, this shouldn’t be a reason for you to drink more energy drinks because even though taurine has no side effects, you still have to consider the side effects of certain ingredients in Venom Energy Drink like caffeine and added sugar.

High Vitamin Content

A general rule of thumb for vitamins is that they shouldn’t be more than 100% of the daily value. Sadly, the vitamin content of Venom reaches 200%, meaning a single can is more than enough for your vitamin intake.

Don’t worry though, Since Venom Energy Drink only has B Vitamins, all that excess will be excreted through your urine. However, that doesn’t prevent side effects like:

  • Excessive Thirst
  • Skin Conditions
  • Blurry Vision
  • Abdominal Cramps
  • Nausea
  • Increased Urination
  • Diarrhea
  • Skin flushing

Final Thoughts

As with all energy drinks, drinking too many cans of Venom can lead to some terrible and unpleasant side effects that may aggravate into full-blown illnesses that may be hard to treat or reverse.

I give added sugars a hard time, but in my experience, you already consume enough sugar throughout the day in the form of snacks and desserts and to add a super sugary drink like Venom into your diet is simply unwise.

Yes, drinking Venom occasionally probably won’t give you any problems if you are not underage, pregnant, or have any underlying conditions. But even the healthiest person can get health issues if they drink Venom regularly.

Oftentimes when you are tired, it’s not because your body needs more caffeine, or sugar, in fact, those ingredients may actually be affecting your health and thus your sleep.

So lay off the energy drinks if you suffer from terrible fatigue and have something healthier for a change, or perhaps one of the less sugary energy drinks if you still need your fix.
