What Are The Pros Of Adrenaline Shoc?

Calorie-Free

A 16 fl.oz can of Adrenaline Shoc Energy Drink is completely calorie-free.

For reference, the recommended daily calorie intake for adults is 2,000 to 2,500 calories. However, it still depends on your gender, age, weight, and height.

That said, monitoring your overall calorific intake is crucial as you don’t want to overconsume. So, having Adrenaline Shoc is a healthy choice as this drink won’t take any of your daily calorie limit.

However, it’s best to keep in mind that this isn’t a drink you should substitute for meals. Remember, energy drinks can’t give your body the nutrients it needs.

Sugar-Free

Since Adrenaline Shoc Energy Drink is calorie-free, that means it doesn’t contain any sugar. I highly recommend going for sugar-free energy drinks to avoid the consequences of overconsuming sugar.

If you weren’t aware of the recommended daily sugar intake, women should only consume 25g while men have a limit of 36g a day.

However, an average American consumes a whopping amount of 71g of sugar a day. It’s no wonder a majority of the population is obese.

A high sugar diet will not only lead to obesity but can also potentially bring about other health risks such as diabetes and heart disease.

As for its short term side effects, having an energy drink that contains high levels of sugar will most likely leave you with a nasty sugar crash (hypoglycaemia).

When you consume too much sugar, your body produces excess insulin, which causes your glucose levels to drop. That explains why you feel drained after consuming an excessive amount of sugar.

Thus, the Adrenaline Shoc is definitely an energy drink to consider for the sake of your health.

Natural Caffeine Ingredients

The Adrenaline Shoc Energy Drink uses a natural blend of green coffee beans, guarana seed extract, coffee fruit extract, and yerba mate extract.

Coffee beans
Coffee beans

Did you know that coffee beans go through a roasting process that reduces their chlorogenic acid, a rich source of antioxidants?

However, green coffee beans don’t go through this process and stay unroasted. That means they still contain chlorogenic acid, which is beneficial for weight loss and blood sugar regulation.

Yerba mate is similar to green coffee beans as this natural ingredient contains antioxidants that are good for weight loss. People also consume yerba mate to fight fatigue and chronic fatigue syndrome.

Another natural caffeine ingredient in Adrenaline Shoc is guarana seed extract from a Brazilian plant in the Amazon.

They’re known to have a stronger caffeine content compared to regular coffee beans. 1g of guarana is equivalent to 40mg of caffeine, while 1g of regular Arabica coffee beans contains only 1.2 – 1.5g.

Lastly, the coffee fruit extract in this drink comes from the plants of coffee beans and is beneficial for brain-boosting and promoting cognitive functions.

Overall, these natural ingredients are a good source of weight loss and antioxidants, so you’ll definitely benefit from including Adrenaline Shoc in your regular diet.

Other Beneficial Ingredients

There are also other beneficial ingredients in a 16 fl.oz can of Adrenaline Shoc Energy Drink, namely essential amino acids (EEAs) and electrolytes.

What are essential amino acids?

Essential amino acids are amino acids that your body can’t produce naturally, so you acquire them through consuming food rich in protein like meat, tofu, and eggs.

Although it isn’t stated just how much EEAs are in a can of Adrenaline Shoc, I think it’s an added advantage for your health as they can help your body to:

  • Break down food
  • Grow muscles
  • Repair body tissue
  • Perform and function

But of course, you shouldn’t depend on this drink alone for your source of EEAs. It’s still best to consume a balanced diet and keep yourself relatively healthy.

Adrenaline Shoc also contains electrolytes, which helps keep your body hydrated.

The science behind it is that when you sweat or pee, your body releases electrolytes and those you regularly workout will usually lose a significant amount of it.

Thus, having Adrenaline Shoc during high-intensity training can help you avoid dehydration.

What Are The Cons Of Adrenaline Shoc?

High Caffeine Content

Despite using natural caffeine ingredients, Adrenaline Shoc Energy Drink contains up to 300mg of caffeine per serving.

300mg of caffeine is a really big amount, in my opinion.

Moreover, the FDA only recommends a daily caffeine limit of a maximum of 400mg only. With that, you’ll have about 100mg of caffeine left after consuming just one can of Adrenaline Shoc.

If you drink more than one can of this drink a day, you’ll definitely overconsume on caffeine which may lead to health problems such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • Digestive issues
  • Muscle breakdown
  • High blood pressure
  • Rapid heart rate

Even if you have a high caffeine tolerance, I still think it’s best to keep your consumption to one can a day to avoid caffeine dependence.

Being dependent on caffeine will make it difficult for you to go about your day without caffeine, and it’ll be just as hard to quit it too.

Then, it’ll lead to caffeine withdrawals. These are difficult to go through because it brings about mental and physical health problems like depression, insomnia, and headaches.

That said, I strongly suggest you avoid Adrenaline Shoc if you have a low caffeine metabolism as the effects will be worse for you.

If you still want to have this drink, make sure to avoid consuming more caffeinated beverages after you’ve finished your first can. With its 300mg of caffeine, your first can of Adrenaline Shoc will be your only can for the day.

Pricey

Adrenaline Shoc can cost up to $42 for a pack of 12 cans (16 fl.oz), which is a bit pricey compared to other calorie and sugar-free energy drinks like Bang or C4 Energy.

For reference, a pack of Bang Energy Drink only cost around $24, while C4 Energy Drink cost $27

While Adrenaline Shoc might not be the most expensive energy drink out there but it’s definitely not a cheap one either. In my opinion, this drink leans more towards the high spectrum of pricing due to its natural ingredients.

But of course, if it’s still within your budget, there’s no harm in trying out Adrenaline Shoc as its beneficial ingredients, and a relatively high caffeine content that’ll surely give you an energy boost.

Does Adrenaline Shoc Contain Artificial Sweeteners?

While it’s sugar-free, a 16 fl.oz can of Adrenaline Shoc contains zero-calorie artificial sweeteners, namely Acesulfame Potassium (Ace-K) and Sucralose.

Due to their non-caloric nature, many healthy products use sweeteners to substitute table sugar. Not to mention, they’re many times sweeter too.

While sweeteners are FDA approved as safe for consumption, health experts have yet to discover all there’s to know about them and their long-term effects.

That said, research shows that overconsuming Ace-K could lead to health risks such as obesity and even cancer.

As for Sucralose, this ingredient can potentially cause side effects like diarrhea and nausea.

Although, the European Food and Safety Authority (EFSA) stated that sucralose is an ingredient that can help regulate your blood sugar levels, which is why it’s popular among consumers with diabetes.

All in all, I think consuming these sweeteners are fine as long as you have them in moderation and keep your health in check.

Adrenaline Shoc Vs. Monster Energy

Caffeine

In terms of caffeine, a 16 fl.oz can of Adrenaline Shoc has far more caffeine (300mg) than a can of Monster Energy (160mg).

If you’re someone with a low tolerance for caffeine, I highly recommend going for Monster Energy. As you know, consuming an excessive amount of caffeine will cause unnecessary side effects.

However, if you prefer higher caffeine content, Adrenaline Shoc will keep you satisfied, as the 300mg of caffeine in this drink all come from natural ingredients.

Just make sure to keep your consumption to one can per day only as having more can be detrimental for your health. You’ll also be exceeding the daily recommended caffeine limit (400mg) if you drink two cans of Adrenaline Show.

Calories

There are zero calories in Adrenaline Shoc, whereas a 16 fl.oz can of Monster Energy contains about 210 calories.

While 210 calories are still below the recommended daily calorie limit (2,000 – 2,500), it’ll be just as easy to exceed the limit if you don’t have any self-control.

Also, it’s important to note that you’ll be consuming other foods and beverages throughout the day, which will eventually contribute to your calorie intake. So, I think you should think twice before reaching out for multiple cans of Monster Energy.

Sugar

Not only does Monster Energy contain a large number of calories for an energy drink, but a 16 fl.oz can of this drink is also packed with 54g of sugar. For this reason alone, I think your safest and healthiest choice is Adrenaline Shoc.

If you drink just one can of Monster Energy, you’ll be exceeding the daily sugar limit, regardless of your gender (25g for women and 36g for men). Not to mention the health consequences that come with a high sugar diet.

That’s why if I were you, I would opt for Adrenaline Shoc, as it contains zero sugar. I mean, why risk your health when you can enjoy a sugar-free energy drink instead?

Price

As for its price, the difference is quite a lot as one can of Adrenaline Shoc can go up to $3.50 while Monster Energy is only $1.60.

However, I think it’s a fair price to pay considering the benefits of Adrenaline Shoc. A 16 fl.oz can of this drink comes with plenty of beneficial ingredients that’ll power you throughout your day, and it contains zero calories and sugar!

Adrenaline Shoc Can
Final Thoughts on Adrenaline Shoc

Looking back at the review, I think Adrenaline Shoc Energy Drink is worth trying as it offers lots of benefits for an energy drink.

A 16 fl.oz can of Adrenaline Shoc contains beneficial ingredients such as essential amino acids and electrolytes while being completely calorie and sugar-free. However, its downside is that one can of this drink already comes with a punching amount of caffeine, 300mg.

While that much caffeine is still below the recommended daily caffeine limit, I wouldn’t want to make this drink my go-to energy drink. I think it’s safer and healthier to have it once in a while and stick to only one can.

Thus, I hope you find this article helpful and enjoy your Adrenaline Shoc responsibly.
