Caffeine In Mixt Energy

Each scoop measuring 3.25 grams of Mixt Energy contains 166 milligrams of caffeine.

Comparing Mixt Energy with other energy drinks, the caffeine content is quite average. It falls right under the moderate caffeine range on my standards.

Granted, if you’ve known me for quite a while, you’ll see that I try to consume only 50 to 100 mg of caffeine. I find that this low level of stimulant is best to keep me on my toes while still giving me the chance to sleep at night.

Caffeine is a stimulant that the body reacts to differently. That’s why knowing your own personal limit is important to maximize its benefits. These are:

  • Increased Physical Performance
  • Increased Alertness
  • Boosted Focus
  • Improved Reaction Time
  • Improved Thinking Skills
  • Reduced Fatigue

On the other hand, the FDA posits that an adult shouldn’t have more than 400mg of caffeine in a single day. That is the limit for the daily consumption of caffeine.

Consuming more than that may lead to the following side effects:

If you’re still exploring your personal caffeine preference, I’d suggest trying low-caffeinated beverages that won’t give you the jitters or crash.

Sugar In Mixt Energy

Sugar is not present in Mixt Energy. This is one of the many reasons I enjoy drinking a cup of this powdered beverage regularly.

I get to enjoy my caffeinated fix without worrying about my sugar count, or even feeling guilty because I ate a whopping amount of sweetness.

To compensate for the lack of flavor, the brand contains artificial sweeteners instead. Mixt has two chemical additives in its formula – Ace K and Sucralose.

Both of these sweeteners are often found side by side as they balance each other out. Aside from being calorie-free, these two are also FDA-approved.

If you’re thinking that this means you get to drown yourself with Mixt, then I’d need to burst your bubble. Artificial sweeteners are safe, but only on a controlled limit.

Here are some effects of too many chemical additives in the body:

Calorie Content Of Mixt Energy

There are no calories in Mixt Energy.

Typically, a woman’s daily calorie intake should be no more than 2000 calories, whereas a man’s intake should not transcend 2500 calories in a day.

Since Mixt does not have any calorie content, you can allocate its share to other filling food products. Personally, I like Mixt because of this.

I always watch for my diet count, so an energy drink with too many calories on top of the caffeine content is a no-go for me.

B Vitamins In Mixt Energy

Following is a table that shows Mixt Energy’s B Vitamin content and its benefits:

Niacin (vitamin B3)Blood fat levels are improved, and blood pressure may be reduced. In addition, brain function is improved, and skin health is improved.

Can You Drink Mixt Energy Every Day?

You can definitely drink Mixt daily! However, the maximum serving I’d recommend is only one glass which contains a scoop of powdered Mixt.

Mixt Energy contains less caffeine than the recommended daily intake of 400mg, which is 166mg. It is acceptable to drink one serving at a time.

Before rejoicing though, I’d like to present you with a disclaimer: although Mixt doesn’t have extreme levels of caffeine, it still has it nonetheless.

If you’re a bit of a caffeine lightweight, this is definitely too much for you. I suggest building your tolerance from the ground up and trying those drinks with less than a hundred mg of caffeine.

Take note that caffeine addiction may exist so one serving of Mixt is plenty enough for seasoned drinkers out there. Any more than that and you’ll experience the following symptoms:

  • Headaches
  • Fatigue
  • Anxiety
  • Difficulty Concentrating
  • Depressed Mood
  • Tremors

Final Verdict

Drinking Mixt is sure to give you a moderate buzz that will fuel you all day long. Combined with another blend of ingredients, you’ll definitely find Mixt worth your money!

Technically speaking, there’s nothing that’s stopping you from consuming a serving of Mixt daily. If you limit your intake within the general caffeine guidelines, then there will be no problem.

However, what I’d like you to remember is you should first know what your personal limit is. Mixt may not have the highest caffeine content, but it still has enough to make a difference.
