Calories in Juju Energy Drink
A single serving of Juju Energy has only 15 calories.
Juju Energy contains a moderate amount of calories. There isn’t a significant amount of difference that calories in this drink will make in a regular diet.
According to the FDA, women should consume around 2000 calories per day, while men should consume up to 2500 per day. So 15 calories don’t really seem all that much plus, they can also be an energizer for you.
In fact, you can easily burn off those 15 calories if you exercise every day. But if you are on a strict diet, you can check out these calorie-free brands here.
Caffeine Content Of Juju Energy
Each sachet of Juju contains 135 mg.
In my opinion, it’s not too strong, but it can be a considerable amount if you have a low caffeine tolerance.
I personally prefer caffeine content that runs between 50-100 mg only, since I think that’s the prime spot to get a good energy boost without risking negative side effects.
Caffeine provides the following health benefits:
- Energy boost
- Increased focus
- Improved memory
- Improved decision making
- Improved reaction time
- Enhanced physical performance
- Improved brain function
The FDA advises that healthy adults keep their daily caffeine intake to 400mg a day only. Juju’s caffeine intake is below half of that, but do keep in mind that caffeine affects us all differently and you may have a low caffeine tolerance.
The following medical problems can result from consuming more than the recommended amount
- High Blood Pressure
- Rapid Heart Rate
Sugar Content Of Juju Energy
It will be good news to know that Juju Energy does not contain sugar.
Sugar-free Juju Energy is safe to consume as a result of its low glycemic index. Many energy drink brands use artificial sweeteners instead of real sugar since they offer better health benefits.
Excessive sugar consumption leads to side effects such as:
- Skin Ageing
- Increased Risk of Cancer
- Increased Risk of Heart Disease
- Tooth Decay
- Low Energy Levels
Artificial Sweeteners In Juju Energy
An artificial sweetener called Sucralose is used to add sweetness to Juju Energy.
Often used in sugar-free energy drinks, sucralose is a low-calorie artificial sweetener. Did you know that it’s 600 times sweeter than sugar?
It won’t affect your blood sugar levels too, so Juju is safe for consumption for diabetics or those who are on diets.
However, Suclarose still has some possible side effects such as gastrointestinal problems, depression, mood swings, and heart palpitations, so it would be best to moderate your consumption.
Still, Sucralose has the FDA’s stamp of approval, so you can rest assured that Juju is safe to drink!
Is Juju Energy Good For You?
Juju Energy’s caffeine content can enhance your physical performance and increase your energy levels.
You can drink it before workouts, exams, or any other physical activity that would require concentration. I’d say that 135 mg is enough for a boost that would last a few hours.
If consumed in moderation, you can definitely reap the health benefits the brand offers. Plus, it also does not contain any sugar and is low-calorie, so it’s good to drink no matter your lifestyle or dietary requirement.
Can You Drink Juju Energy Every Day?
Juju Energy can be consumed every day, as long as you keep to one serving only.
Moreover, it does not contain any sugar, so you can drink it every day without worrying about your blood sugar levels.
Juju has moderate caffeine content, which can quickly add up if you’re not careful. I know it’s tempting to keep making fresh glasses of Juju, but it’s better to be safe than sorry!
Getting used to drinking large amounts of caffeine can lead to caffeine addiction and dependence. Not to mention, you’ll increase your caffeine tolerance which means you’ll need more and more caffeine daily just to get the same level of energy.
Is Juju Energy Bad For You?
You shouldn’t worry about the health effects of Juju Energy, as long as you drink it responsibly.
You might want to avoid Juju Energy if you are sensitive to caffeine. For some, 135mg may be too much, so only consume this if you’re able to.
It’s also not recommended for those under 18, since caffeine can affect a child’s development. Furthermore, pregnant women are also not advised to take caffeine.
Some experts do say that up to 200 mg is alright for pregnant women, but I suggest avoiding it altogether to be safe.
How Much Juju Energy Can You Have In A Day?
During the course of the day, you can consume up to 1 serving of Juju Energy.
Juju Energy gives you a boost of energy and alertness in just one serving. So I’d recommend drinking one before participating in an intense situation that requires a lot of attention such as exams or weight lifting.
If you consume more than that, you may experience caffeine overdose, which can lead to the following health problems:
- Chest pain
- Uncontrollable muscles movement
- Increased thirst
- Difficult breathing
Since Juju Energy contains caffeine, you should only consume one serving despite its sugar-free status.
Juju Energy Review
Juju Energy comes in various flavors, such as:
- Pina Colada
- Green Apple
- Cherry Bomb
- Watermelon Crush
- Tropical Juggernaut
- Bomber Pop
- Blue Raspberry
- Pumpkin Spice
- Sour Gummy Worms
I do like that they have a lot of options for their customers and the flavors seem to be a fusion of candy sweetness and fruit.
The best flavor for me was Tropical Juggernaut. It tasted very fresh and sweet, like a peachy mango Kool-Aid that will quench your thirst.
Bomber Pop also delighted me with its simple popsicle-like taste that reminds me of hot summers when I was a kid. Blue Raspberry was also surprisingly good and really mimicked the cool fruity flavor without the bitter aftertaste.
However, the Grapesicle and Sour Gummy Worms didn’t just land well with me. They really taste artificial and didn’t appeal to my tastebuds.
Another thing I noticed with Juju’s drinks is that they don’t have any carbonation at all. I do appreciate light carbonation in my drinks since it gives fresh fizziness to them, but that’s just me.
Some of the flavors also have strong scents, so that may be a turn-off for you too. The smell was just strong right after opening though.

Other Notable Mentions
My overall impression of Juju Energy is that it’s a good energy drink that’s made with some fabulous ingredients.
I rate this drink a 6 out of 10 because it gives you not only energy but also other health benefits. Even though I really like its caffeine and sugar content, the taste of some flavors is off-putting.
You will get a good boost of energy from Juju Energy since it contains 135mg of caffeine. Juju Energy can enhance your physical performance and make you alert with just one serving.
Furthermore, it is sugar-free and has a low-calorie count. Juju Energy is still an excellent choice for people who are health conscious since it will not affect your weight in any way.
Conclusively, Juju is a good option. You can give it a shot!
